Personal Rig Update 2015 – Project Yin Yang

This is a repost of the pictures from my private facebook. My personal rig was due for an update in early 2015. It was finally time to upgrade processor and switch to an SSD.

My wife and I also decided to merge our two office rooms into one to free up a room. The theme we chose for the remodeling of the office rooms was black & white and we ordered the first pieces of furniture accordingly.

The huge phantecs case was originally chosen because it was the only one capable of housing a custom water cooling loop painted and it was already black & white. This saved me the hassle of repainting it myself.

• Mainboard: ASUS X99-S
• GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon R290 (3x)
• SSD: Samsung 850 Pro Evo, 1TB
• HDD: Western Digital WD Red, 4TB

I also made my wife a new, smaller PC with the same color scheme. I never posted any pictures of it, nor pictures of the new office space. Maybe I will post a second part to this post with these pictures.
